CHEF'S UNIFORM
The uniforms for chefs were invented centuries ago.In early times the prime job of the uniform is to make a cook look like a cook, but today the uniform are designed keeping in mind that these keeps the workers safe, as they all operate in a potentially dangerous environment with lots of sophisticated machinery and tools around
LETS TALK ABOUT THE DRESS
1. CHEFS JACKET:-The typical chef's jacket or chefs coat is also called (vest Blanc)in French .it is made of heavy white cotton .this fabric is important as it act as insulation against the intense heat from stoves and ovens and is also fire resistant
2 . CHEFS TROUSER:-chefs wear either black pants or checkered pants.the traditional checkers were so designed to camouflage the spills and the colour of the pants in some organization also denotes the seniority of the chef

4.NECKERCHIEF:-chefs wear white or black neckerchief ,wfich are knotted in front .these were originally designed to absorb perspiration .
5.APRON:-it is usually made of thick cotton fabric and is worn around the waist with the help of a long string .the apron should reach below the knees to protect the chefs from spilling hot liquids.
